Project Mayhem

06Aug08

It’s funny how things pop up out of nowhere at the work place, taking one by pleasant surprise and causing mild amusement.
I got a mail sometime back for creating a project titled, you won’t believe me if I told you, ‘Project Mayhem’.
Project Name:  Project Mayhem
Task:               Implementation

I couldn’t,
Oh, I had a long way to go.
The rain is lashing,
the wind swishing,
for just one night take care,

Update: The Prime Minister’s speech [...]

But I don’t agree when they say [...]

As I choked…

18Jul08

Looking down the long barrel of the old gun wasn’t a pleasant experience, rather horrifying in fact. The long dark shaft stretched along the rest of my vision like an infinte abyss ready to gulp down my spineless self. But little did I know that it was my fate to mouth the abyss… like in [...]

Kantakhaala was a small village on the sea. It was 15 kms away from Gopalpur, the nearest town. It had never been in news, not many people were even aware of its existence, but the quiet life of the illiterate villagers was turned upside down when some city folks said their village was of archaeological [...]
