Walking to and from work, waiting at the bus stop twice a day, travelling on the APSRTC buses and returning home late at night, bring me face to face with certain people and incidents –  some pleasant, some unpleasant, some imprinting, some trivial, some hilarious and some depressing. But there is no shortage of stories, incidents or happenings on [...]

Starting from 28th May, i.e; y’day, History Channel has been airing a new programme – History Rocks. And I was fortunate enough to watch y’day’s episode. It was awesome! Queen! Freddie Mercury!! Live!!! (not in the actual sense of the term though)

Well, my Declaration of Independence is being drafted. It may take some time before the full text is ready for being posted here officially, but you know how things are when it comes to official-bureaucratical work. I just hope it gets ready soon so that I can share it with you people. But [...]

Arundhati, a movie that was released almost 40 years ago, still has its hold over Oriya movie watchers. I have watched the movie, but only once, and that too in bits and pieces. But the one thing that I remember about this movie is its songs. They are simply great. Sung by such legends as Mohammad [...]
