Malcolm Who?

04Oct06

5 minutes ago, the server went off (or down or wherever it wanted to go), taking along with it, the post I’d very nearly finished but hadn’t published. I’d toiled around 2 hours on that single post alone and felt like tearing out all my hair when the server crashed with the now familiar beeping sound.

I’m too tired to write anything for now. But now that you are at it, take a look at the following link which texts the Ballot or the bullet speech by the firebrand black leader Malcolm X. I got a video of him delivering a speech that goes “What’s your name?”. It’s very mesmerising and inspiring and fiery and whatever. He remains one of my idols on account of his oratorial skills after Hitler.

I had a Microsoft Encarta Edition where for the first time I came face to face with Malcolm X. The way he was delivering his speech, his body language, his style of speaking, his attire, just about everything about him was so very perfect. To read more about him refer to the following link.

Unfortunately (though seen by many as a fortunate incident), he was killed in the Audobon ballroom where he was to give a speech. I rank him alongside Che Guevera.

You dig Malcolm X right after Hitler? What a lousy stretch of the imagination. Mebbe try putting Farrakhan in there with the old murdering, lying Goosestepper. Hitler’s puppet mouth drones repeat his famous lie a million times everyday, but never again will his dream achieve fulfillment. Farrakhan’s only dream, other than quoting Hitler in on television years after he betrayed Malcolm, was to grab a million bucks at the Million Man March. Neither belongs in the same category with Malcolm.

Plus, to second all that @ vegdevil, you oughta see Muhammad Ali whupping who was it, Floyd Patterson? Patterson (memory ain’t quite exact on this one) had disrespected Ali by saying ‘I ain’t calling him no Mohammed Alley. His name is Cassius Clay, and I’m gonna prove it.” Inspired by Malcolm X’s “What’s my name” speech, Ali whupped that guy and wouldn’t let him go down. Everytime he jabbed Patterson, Ali said, “What’s my name? What’s my name?” One of the most vicious beatings ever in a boxing ring.

  4. 4 u are stupid
